Pakistan’s advanced remote sensing satellite was successfully launched into space from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center between 7 am and 8 am Pakistan time today.
Experts and scientists from Pakistan’s space research organization, Suparco, are present at the Chinese launch center to successfully complete the mission.

According to a Suparco spokesperson, the remote sensing satellite will enable timely and effective warning of infrastructure development, urban sprawl monitoring and natural disasters such as floods, landslides and earthquakes in Pakistan.
