Trump Opposes Recognition of Palestinian State

“Recognizing Palestine Would Be Like Rewarding Hamas, Says U.S. President”

U.S. President Donald Trump has openly opposed the idea of recognizing a Palestinian state, stating that doing so would essentially be like rewarding Hamas.

While speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump clarified that there was no discussion of a two-state solution during his recent meeting with the British Prime Minister, nor was there any talk of recognizing a Palestinian state.

He firmly stated,

“Recognizing Palestine right now would mean giving relief to Hamas, and I don’t believe Hamas deserves any kind of reward.”

Trump emphasized that his administration views such recognition as irresponsible, especially given the destruction seen in Gaza and the continued activities of militant groups.
