Qari in Swabi Beats 6-Year-Old Madrassa Student for Arriving Late!
Another disturbing case of child abuse has emerged from Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, shortly after a similar incident in Swat. A local Qari allegedly beat a 6-year-old boy for arriving late to the madrassa.
According to police sources, the incident took place at a mosque in the Chhota Lahore area. Muhammad Asim, the child’s father, reported that his son, Muhammad Isa, a student at Jamia Masjid Dheranay, was physically assaulted by Qari Muhammad Sohail. The teacher reportedly used a stick to beat the child, leaving visible red marks on his back.
Police responded promptly, arrested the accused, and registered a case. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
