Asia Cup Might Be Canceled! PCB Could Lose a Lot of Money

The Asia Cup cricket tournament might be canceled, and this could be very bad for Pakistan’s cricket board (PCB). If the tournament does not happen, PCB may lose more than 8.8 billion rupees.

A big meeting will happen on Thursday in Dhaka, where the head of PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, will talk with other cricket leaders. In this meeting, they will decide if the Asia Cup will happen or not.

“Asia Cup at Risk of Cancellation PCB Could Face Losses Exceeding Rs. 8.8 Billion”

If it is canceled, PCB will lose a lot of money. Just from Asia Cup tickets and TV rights, PCB could lose 1.16 billion rupees. Also, PCB had planned to use 7.5 billion rupees from their share in international cricket, and that is now at risk too.

Some people say that India is trying to stop the Asia Cup. They may be working with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Oman to cancel it. This might be to make the PCB chairman look weak and reduce Pakistan’s power in Asian cricket.

Everyone is waiting for the final decision in the meeting. It will be very important for the future of the Asia Cup and for Pakistan’s cricket board.
