Israel and Syria Reach Ceasefire Agreement, Confirms U.S. Envoy
The United States Ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barrack, announced on Friday that Israel and Syria have reached a ceasefire agreement. The move has received support from regional players including Turkey and Jordan.

Barrack, who also serves as the U.S. special envoy to Syria, shared the development on X (formerly Twitter), urging all Syrian communities — including Druze, Bedouins, Sunnis, and other minorities — to lay down arms and work towards a peaceful, united future alongside neighboring countries.
