During a podcast hosted by Michelle’s brother, Craig Robinson, the former U.S. President and First Lady shared light-hearted but clear responses to the speculation.
When asked about the divorce gossip, Barack Obama laughed, saying the relationship had faced its moments, but “Michelle didn’t give up on me.”
Michelle Obama also responded with a smile, pointing out how quickly people jump to conclusions. “If we’re not seen together at an event, suddenly the internet thinks we’re done. We’re living our lives—not everything needs to be online,” she said.
The couple’s remarks have put to rest widespread rumors, including those linking Barack Obama to actress Jennifer, which had circulated in the media recently.
